For over one hundred years, Toddington Town Band has been proud to bring music and pleasure to contented audiences across Bedfordshire and and beyond. We currently have more than thirty five active players of all ages and standards. Our extensive library of over 400 pieces of music means we are able to play a wide range of music of differing genres which offers enjoyment and challenges for the beginner and experienced musician alike.
Although the band has won many prizes and competitions over the years, it no longer contests but remains very active with many public performances such as formal concerts, bandstands and fetes throughout the year. As well as the full brass band, we often perform as a smaller ensemble suitable for the occasions when 30 or more players are just too many.
The band practices at Toddington Social Club on a Tuesday evening where warm welcome awaits from this friendly bunch of people.

And the Oscar goes to …
Our recent Spring Concert with the Parkside Singers was a great success. The audience enjoyed the Band's first performance of 'Hollywood' - a piece composed by Goff Richards which showcased a number of different styles of film music, from romance to slapstick. The Band also performed the world premier of 'Ain't Gonna March To YO Tune No More ' - composed by our very own Geoff Stear.
The Parkside Singers entertained us with a variety of pieces, from stage and screen, to traditional pieces and hymns - very apt for a Sunday afternoon!
Thank you to all who supported us and enjoyed a varied concert with tea and cakes.
Details of all our engagements for 2019 can be found on the What's On page.
